A lot of quests, sidequests, funny dialogues. My only con is the leveling up system, where everything level up with you and it kinda ruins the strategy part. Nonetheless I had a lot of fun and recommend the game.. The most amazing game on earth. LOVE IT.. A fun and amazingly in-depth RPG Maker game with lots of stuff to do; not just quests, but things like fishing, and delivering mail a-la Paper Mario. I've been doing a Let's Play of this game and I've immensely enjoyed it so far. If you'd like to check it out, I've included the link to the first episode! https:\/\/youtu.be\/JqcCL86wb_o. i ame amazed by the music, the story, and the caracters, well done, i recommend this game to play, and for that money, dont even consider to NOT play it. well done developers,!. I seriously gave it a lot of thought if I should recommend the game or not as I like games by John Wizard. Unfortunately, I just can't get myself to enjoy this at all. This has nothing to do with the story line but rather the game play and concept of fights. If you like rpg maker games and a challenge, you should pick it up as it's not expensive at all. Now to why I can't enjoy it:- Monsters get stronger as well whenever you level up or get more party members.- No healing after level up.- Hard to outrun enemies which makes it nearly impossible to escape the battles.- Attack is mainly focused on one character because of the percentage.Overall, I have to use healing items a lot or I keep dying every second fight. I am a very casual player and want to relax while playing, not getting frustrated. I am not saying that it is a bad game though. It's just not the type of gameplay I enjoy in a rpg maker game. In my opinion it would be better if there was an easy mode that would give the player an edge over the enemies or let you at least heal whenever you level up.. The striking thing about this game is how well organized it is. Information is easy to find, you're never left wondering what to do next, and there is a good balance in the types of gameplay, so you're always doing something new.The story isn't much, but serves its required function of explaining what you have to do, and why. There is significant dialogue between the characters, which is mostly for humor (which it does successfully), and little else.Puzzles are a primary feature of the game. They are just challenging enough to be fun, and no two are alike.Quests come in the form of islands. When you recieve a quest, you unlock that island on the map. The game has four seas full of islands to explore, with a nice balance of required and optional quests.Progress through the game is nice and tidy. Nothing takes too long, and you always feel like you have a choice of which quest to take on next.Overall, this is a very well made game, and I recommend it highly.. The game at first sight was like not big deal, but for someone that played old school games i try it and then i saw the magic happen, it is really worth game to play, thank you creators!!!. Time well spent. I enjoyed the humor of the main characters interactions, as well as the overall feel of the game. There were many side quests and stories that did not just feel like "go here get this item" boom done no other point. Each new area I opened for side quests also had different ways of going about the objectives of the quest. I never felt bored with the game which is hard to say since I have played an incredible amount of rpgs over the years. They had fishing, a battle arena a secret organization to join, different outfits for the characters to unlock a decent story with multiple endings as well as many places to save which I definitely appreciate being a person who saves games excessively. I think the thing I liked most about the game was that it was open to you at all times. You can miss over a side quest but do not lose on the opportunity to go back and get it. I never felt like oh great I can never do everything in this game in one try it was more oh I can explore more and do side things to lead to something better. Thankfully it was true. The more side quests you do the more items you receive, which in turn lead to better items at the end of the game. It helps you quite a bit to beat the last boss so all of your work wasn't for naught. What was nice as well was I did not feel like I was like just doing busy work. I felt like this had more opportunities in it for funny banter, character development as well as a way to further explore the world I was in as well as the people in it. One of the things I would get excited about would be when I would find a letter in the game. You take the letter to the post office and they decipher it for you and tell you to whom the letter is for. Then a map opens to the location of the place and you get to then explore more areas. After entering a dungeon I would make sure to check every area hoping to find a new letter. A lot of the times I would leave the dungeon and start on the letter before even finishing the place because I was so excited to see what would open up from it. The battles are challenging and the monsters level up with you so I ended up resting a lot, but there is a side quest which opens up an island of snow, and once you complete the objective, you can sleep there for 25 gold. Which is the cheapest place to rest in the game. A lot of the time since money was scarce in the beginning in particular, I would keep going back to that island to rest. Another thing that was great was once you killed a monster (except on slime island )they would be gone forever. So you would get the money the xp and not have to deal with them again. By the end areas of the game I was max level of 50 and had enough money to where I didn't need to fight the monsters at all which was a nice reward I thought. This is an incredibly rewarding game especially, one to be had on an rpg maker. I just wished I had played it sooner so I knew to buy Dawn's Light 2. For some reason this game isn't available to buy right now and I have no idea why. I hope that changes in the future with reviews like mine to show that even now people are wanting to buy more of the products created by this developer.
